Jatamansi is a very well valued Himalayan herb, traditionally valued in Ayurveda and Himalayan herbal practices. This aromatic root has been traditionally used in hair care and wellness rituals and is especially known for its association with calmness and traditional hair-care practices.

At Vriksha Veda, our Jatamansi Powder is made from carefully sourced Jatamansi roots from the high Himalayan regions of Uttarakhand. The roots are finely ground in small batches to preserve their natural character, without adding fillers, additives or preservatives.

Jatamansi Powder for Hair
It has traditionally been used in Ayurvedic hair-care preparations for maintaining healthy-looking hair. Rather than thinking of it as a quick-fix treatment, think of it as a supportive botanical ingredient in a consistent hair-care routine.

Try This Hair Mask
• 1 tsp Jatamansi Powder
• 1 tsp Amla Powder
• Curd, aloe vera gel or water, as required

Mix Jatamansi and Amla Powder in equal quantities. Add curd, aloe vera gel or water little by little to make a smooth paste. Apply evenly to the scalp and hair. Gently massage the scalp and leave the mask on for around 30 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly with water. If required, follow with a mild herbal cleanser.
