It can also become your beautiful self-care ritual, a peaceful little “me time” and an Ayurvedic home facial experience in the comfort of your home.

Why Did We Choose Navara Rice?
Navara rice, also known as Njavara rice, is a rare Ayurvedic medicinal rice traditionally valued for its restorative and nourishing properties. When soaked in warm milk and gently massaged over the skin, it helps soften rough texture, improve skin appearance, support natural radiance, and relax facial tension.

Our Navara Potli is specially adapted for delicate facial care and can also be used for neck, hand, foot, and full-body massage rituals.

Key Ingredients
Navara Rice & Licorice Powder comes along with our “Varnya” Powder" (5 gms) and a detailed step-by-step usage method for an easy Ayurvedic facial ritual at home.

Easy Ayurvedic Ritual at Home- Usage Method
Traditionally, Navara Potli is prepared at home by boiling Navara rice, tying it inside a clean cotton cloth, and using it warm for massage rituals.

But if you do not want to go through the entire preparation process, our ready-to-use Navara Rice Potli makes the ritual simple, convenient, and beginner friendly.

Simply soak the potli in hot boiled milk for 15–20 minutes and add a pinch of Varnya Powder to the milk. Allow the rice to become soft, warm, and creamy. Once softened, gently massage the face and neck using upward circular motions for a deeply relaxing, nourishing, and Ayurvedic facial experience.

Frequently Asked Questions on Navara Facial Potli (FAQs)

1. Is the Navara Potli reusable?
The potli itself is intended for a single facial massage ritual. After the massage, you can open the potli and make full use of the softened Navara rice by mixing it with milk or rose water to create a nourishing face pack. Apply the mixture to the face, leave it on for 10–15 minutes, and then rinse off with water.
This way, the entire potli can be enjoyed in one complete self-care ritual without any wastage.

2. How many times can I use one potli?
Each potli is designed for one complete self-care ritual. Use it for facial massage first, and then make use of the softened Navara rice as a nourishing face pack.

3. Is this a daily skincare product?
No. The Navara Potli is designed as a mindful self-care ritual rather than a daily skincare product. Using it 1–2 times a week is usually sufficient.

4. Can men use this potli?
Absolutely. The Navara Potli is suitable for both women and men above 18 years of age.

5. Which skin types is it suitable for?
It is generally suitable for all skin types and works especially well for:
•    Dry and rough skin
•    Dull and tired-looking skin
•    Mature skin
•    Skin lacking softness and natural radiance

6. Can I use water instead of milk?
Yes, warm water can be used if preferred. However, traditionally warm milk is recommended as it creates a richer and more nourishing self-care experience.

7. What should I do with the Varnya Powder after using the potli?
Do not discard it. The milk and Varnya Powder mixture used for soaking the potli can be applied to the face as a nourishing face pack. Leave it on for 10–15 minutes and rinse with plain water.

8. What should I do with the rice after using the potli for facial massage?
Once the massage is complete, gently open the potli and remove the softened Navara rice. Mix it with a little milk or rose water and apply it as a face pack. Leave it on for 5–10 minutes before rinsing. This allows you to enjoy the full benefit of the nourishing Navara rice.

9. Can I store the prepared potli for later use?
We recommend using the entire potli in a single session. Since it contains natural ingredients and softened rice, fresh preparation provides the best experience.

10. Do I need to cleanse my face before using the potli?
Yes. Start with a clean face free from makeup, sunscreen, or excess oil to allow for a more comfortable and effective self-care ritual.

from your farm to self care rituals

At Vriksha Veda, we truly believe that nature holds the power to heal—if we trust in it. Our journey began when our founder, a Certified Herbalist and Facial Yoga Instructor, connected with a few local farms during her mountain treks. What started with just 3-4 farms has now grown into a strong network of over 50 farms that help us source raw herbs and pure botanical oils.

We keep things simple—because simple works. No complicated formulas, no additives. Just pure, single-ingredient goodness you can use every day.

And it’s not just about the products. We also guide and educate people on how to use the herbs and oils in their skincare, haircare, and wellness rituals. Because we believe self-care should be natural, honest, and easy to follow.
